My name is Dean and I’m a freelance writer and copywriter based in Malta.

When I’m not chasing after my kids and singing silly songs to keep them entertained, you’re bound to find me curled up with a gripping paperback, listening to dad rock bands.

I also love to write.

My professional writing career began almost a decade ago, reviewing music gigs for the Times of Malta. I now have over 10 cut-and-thrust years of freelancing experience under my belt.

I’ve worked closely with the Arts Council Malta, creating event programmes for the Malta Arts Festival and Notte Bianca. I have written for airline magazines, luxury hotels, Michelin-starred restaurants, iGaming brands, Forex brokers, web development companies, B2B directories, international literary sites … the list goes on. Whether it’s churning out snappy blurbs by the dozen or compiling detailed corporate reports, I’ve done it all. Heck, I’ve even penned a chart-topping Eurovision track. Don’t believe me? I was also editor for Living WOW, a private members’ magazine all about holiday ideas overflowing with the wow-factor. We showcased awesome autumn festivals, sensational cruising destinations, mini city-break guides, epic motorhome journeys, and much more.
