The verdala
The Verdala Terraces is AX Group's latest prestigious residential venture, poised to offer residents a blend of serenity and upscale luxury, nestled within one of Malta’s most historic neighbourhoods. The project also introduces a luxurious wellness hotel poised to elevate the living experience further. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, my role was to establish the brand's voice guidelines, focusing on crafting copy that's immersive, inviting readers to envision the lifestyle awaiting them at this distinguished property. An essential part of my contribution was the comprehensive research I undertook of the Rabat and Mdina areas. This research laid the foundation for unique content in brochures and on the website, offering potential residents a vivid snapshot of the culturally rich neighbourhood they could soon call home.

GRAIN
Grain encompasses three distinctive restaurants located within Rosselli AX Privilege, a 5-star boutique luxury hotel on Merchants Street, Valletta. Among these are the Michelin-starred Under Grain, the Bib Gourmand recipient Grain Street, and the stylish rooftop lounge, Over Grain. I maintain an ongoing collaboration with the Grain marketing team, crafting engaging copy to differentiate each brand across their diverse marketing needs. Additionally, I helped with the branding efforts for Under Grain's Sip & Savour Series, memorable food and wine pairing evenings hosted by esteemed sommeliers.

Specialising in digital outdoor media solutions, Street Media operates nationwide, with out-of-home reach on both land and sea. This enables marketers to weave impactful brand narratives that resonate with consumers on the move. I collaborated with the team to develop creative copy for their new website, infusing it with a fun tone of voice that mirrors the company's brand identity. Our goal was to craft compelling content that effectively promotes the company's advertising solutions and highlights their innovative approach to ads in Malta.

dB Lifestyle Group is a recent venture by the established dB Group, a key player in Malta's diverse sectors, including hospitality, property development, catering, and healthcare. As the Group set its sights on the UK and European markets, there was a need to thoughtfully present its varied portfolio, which comprises hotels, restaurants, and real estate projects, among others. My role was to craft content that showcases the Group's diversified projects in an accessible and engaging manner, offering a clear yet comprehensive overview of the professionalism and expertise that the Group brings to every project.

Hotel Verdi is a newly launched 4-star hotel in Malta. Set right in the centre of the Gzira’s waterside promenade, the hotel is a convenient gateway to some of the island’s top leisure, cultural, and historical destinations. I was responsible for writing all copy on the hotel’s website and establishing the brand’s tone of voice to be carried over on marketing materials, press releases, social media captions, and more.

Smartstone Energy Solutions is one of the UK's leading energy saving, home insulation, & grant specialists. Tasked with refreshing their website, I developed SEO-optimized content, ensuring major keywords were aptly addressed. Additionally, I provided detailed knowledge guides to help consumers navigate the nuances of insulation materials. One of the main challenges was simplifying a technical subject for a general audience, making it both engaging and easy to grasp. Alongside the primary website content, I wrote a variety of blogs covering recent company news, updates on government grants, and insights into insulation trends, all tailored to resonate with popular search interests.

Check Your Traders is a Malta-based trades directory and review platform that promotes quality workmanship and customer service. I was responsible for writing all copy across CYT’s new website, which includes dedicated portals for both consumers and tradespeople, each of which required a focussed approach. As part of the project I also provided SEO content, email content for trader and consumer life-cycles, and I also contribute regular blog content for the site’s Advice Centre.

Megabyte is one of Malta’s leading IT services providers. With 40+ years of business under its belt, and a full spectrum of integrated tech solutions offered, the company sought to streamline its website to ensure its core services and products were easily understood. I was tasked with writing all copy in a professional yet approachable tone of voice. The project entailed writing high-level overviews of Megabyte’s main services to explain their benefits as efficiently as possible. I also wrote text for the company profile and careers pages, as well as copyediting short bios for the core management team.

Tasked with refreshing the brand's written content in 2022, I adopted a tone of voice deeply rooted in the rich vernacular of warm American hospitality. My objective was to craft fun, captivating copy designed to not only resonate with readers but to also bring a smile to their faces. From the start, the agency has made it its mission to bring a fresh approach to marketing on the island, one that’s not afraid to do things differently. I collaborated with the agency on copywriting for their website. After meeting with the team to discuss their values and vision, I set about establishing a tone of voice that captures the brand’s bold as brass reputation. For the past 30 years, Belgian artist Frank De Decker has made a name for himself all over the world with his pop art-inspired portraits and mixed-media paintings. I was part of the team behind the launch of Frank’s first international Web Store. Frank is a really warm, charismatic guy, always upbeat and positive, and great fun to chat to. So I made sure to craft the copy around his personality and humour. I also compiled a series of conversational Artist Notes-style blogs, based on conversations I had with Frank about his art process, the inspiration behind his latest collections, and why he finally decided the time was right to launch his first ever limited-edition prints.

Exacta Solutions is a Malta-based recruitment and consultancy agency specialising in the iGaming, FinTech, and IT sectors. I was approached on a freelance basis to contribute monthly SEO-friendly blogs on a range of recruitment related topics, which act as useful resources for both job seekers and HR personnel. These ongoing blogs continue to boost Exacta’s visibility on the search engines while providing their marketing team with evergreen content to share on their social channels. As well as writing the blogs, I am also responsible for uploading content onto their Wordpress site and sourcing royalty-free images to accompany the listicles.
